DESCRIPTION
Shark-O-Matic
Maneating Machine: The sculpture is a coin-operated piece made of steel weighing approximately 150 pounds. It hangs from the ceiling using hardware that I will provide. The coin box is mounted on the wall nearby and requires a 115V AC outlet. The shark is about 12 feet long and requires a ceiling height of about 14 feet. As the body is segmented, when activated it thrashes back and forth. It has a fin-span of nearly 5 feet so requires a clear area about 6 feet in diameter. It can be hung more out in the middle of the space with the coin box (7"w x 16"h) being mounted on the nearest wall. Ring of Fire is a wall mounted, coin-operated piece that measures
approximately 66"w x 52"h (including wall mounted coin box) and protrudes
approximately 16" from the wall. The coin box requires a 115V AC outlet.
